Room 2347 is a strong performer in a hotel that clearly values design, comfort, and consistency. It may not offer a jaw-dropping view or monastery-level quiet, but it delivers where it counts most: superb sleep, an exceptional bathroom, and a polished overall experience in one of Savannah’s most stylish settings. In other words, it is the kind of room that leaves a guest impressed, rested, and only mildly annoyed at the outlet placement.
Room 2347 at the JW Marriott Savannah makes a strong entrance and, more importantly, keeps the promise. The hotel leans fully into polish and personality, delivering the kind of stay that feels upscale without trying too hard. With a StayIQ score of 92 percent, this is a room that clearly understood the assignment.
The bed was the room’s undisputed overachiever. Linens, mattress, and pillows all scored perfectly, creating the sort of sleep setup that could make a guest briefly consider missing breakfast on purpose. In a world full of decorative hotel beds that photograph better than they sleep, this one managed to do both.
The room itself was clean, thoughtfully laid out, and undeniably handsome. Its style scored at the top, and the overall design gave off confident luxury rather than generic business-travel beige. The workspace and room service both performed well, and the climate control did its job without drama, which is really all anyone can ask of HVAC.
The weaker spots were more practical than fatal. The view was fine rather than unforgettable, and the outlet situation could have been more generous. Noise was also a mild issue, suggesting that while the room looked serene, it was not always committed to complete silence.
The bathroom was nearly flawless. Cleanliness, water pressure, water temperature, and towels all earned top marks, making the space feel less like a standard hotel bath and more like a very well-run private spa with excellent timing. Amenities were strong too, though not quite in perfection territory.
The property itself scored beautifully in the categories that matter most. The lobby made a strong impression, the WiFi worked as it should, and the location was excellent. Service, fitness, business features, and the bar and restaurant all performed well, even if they stopped just short of stealing the show. Style, however, absolutely did not hold back. This hotel knows how to look the part, and thankfully it mostly knows how to play it too.
